Senior Manager Communications
About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, this role sits at the center of how we scale our impact by elevating storytelling, strengthening how communications are delivered across the organization, and enabling leaders to communicate with clarity and confidence. This role leads a team of Managers and Senior Associates, providing strategic direction and coaching to drive and scale stronger storytelling in our commercial functions and across the enterprise. The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications plays a key role in shaping leadership communications on behalf of the CEO and senior leaders across our commercial teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or related field
- Proven experience leading high-visibility communications initiatives and campaigns
- Strong experience supporting executive and leadership communications
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-stakes environments; agency experience is a plus
- Demonstrates strong leadership presence and judgment, including: Clear, confident communication, Strong collaboration and partnership mindset, High personal integrity and credibility, Sound strategic thinking, Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity, Confidence working with and advising senior leaders
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex projects with clarity and focus

- Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, compelling messages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Internal Communications on narratives and speaking engagements for the CEO and relevant senior leaders, developing and refining key messages, tone, and communication priorities
- Oversee and serve as strategic advisor for communications across commercial teams (Marketing and divisions) to deliver clear, consistent, and impactful storytelling
- Identify and elevate the most important business, brand, and culture stories to the broader enterprise narrative to build connection, pride & fuel growth
- Define and standardize the approach to Town Halls, including structure, messaging priorities, and best practices
- Advise on large-scale transformations driving clarity, transparency and trust to keep employees informed, aligned, and connected to the business priorities.
- Develop templates, playbooks, and guidance that enable leaders to communicate effectively and independently
- Lead and develop a team of Communications professionals, providing senior counsel, direction, and development opportunities while aligning work to the mission of Corporate Communications and the Nestlé USA business
