About The Position

The Senior Manager Change Manager is the BU Change Manager Leader, owning the firmwide process or organizational change management (OCM) across the Firmwide Digital Group (FDG). Operating within a federated change management model, this Senior Manager sets the standard for how change is planned, communicated, measured, and adopted across all Business Units (Tax, A&A, Consulting, Business Management and Internal Firm Services), ensuring change management is BU-specific, tailored by impacted persona, and connected to both BU and firmwide initiatives. This role owns the firmwide OCM framework, governs the release communications process and its associated roles and responsibilities, and provides direct leadership and coaching to the individual BU Change Managers (one per BU). Working alongside the BU Digital Lead, BU Leadership Teams, Project Managers, and Internal Communications, the BU Change Manager Lead drives consistent, high-quality change management that delivers the right information, to the right stakeholders, at the right time — while removing the confusion, duplication, and communication overload that undermine adoption.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, related major or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing business projects/programs/portfolios, including experience leading or owning an organizational change management function or program
Minimum of 7 years’ work experience managing communication plans, business projects, organizational change management, business process analysis, transformation, and/or project management
Experience establishing and governing change management standards, RACI models, and communication processes across multiple teams or business units
Experience leading, coaching, or providing oversight to other change management, project management, or communications practitioners
Experience working with a dispersed organization and team, ideally across multiple business units
Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels across the firm, including with Partners and BU Leadership Teams; developing presentations, conducting workshops, and hosting recurring progress meetings
Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment; ability to identify and drive solutions using creativity and a willingness to try unproven ideas

Nice To Haves

Experience with Smartsheet and Workfront are a plus
Knowledgeable about Professional Services Organization operations and technologies and preferably has experience in the Accounting or Financial Services industry
Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking Certification, PMP, or a recognized change management certification (e.g., Prosci) preferred
Exposure to RPA, AI, or data analytics and ability to identify opportunities for improvement using specific capabilities

Responsibilities

Serves as the firmwide OCM process owner, defining, maintaining, and continuously improving the change management framework, standards, templates, and cadences used across all Business Units.
Leads and coaches the federated network of BU Change Managers (one per BU), setting expectations, providing direction and quality oversight, and ensuring consistent application of the OCM methodology across Tax, A&A, Consulting, and Business Management.
Governs the FDG release communications process and its roles and responsibilities (RACI), clarifying who is responsible for providing updates to each audience and eliminating confusion, duplication, and conflicting messaging across BUs.
Consolidates adoption metrics/KPIs, roadmap, communication and training calendar information into a streamlined, digestible communication approach on a regular cadence, reducing update overload for key audiences and protecting capacity for higher-value change management activities.
Partners with the FDG on release planning to ensure all projects across the firm are tracked, and that quarterly release announcements and project-specific updates are coordinated and cascaded across BUs.
Tailors change management by persona (e.g., Partners and Non-Partners) and by BU, ensuring communications and adoption efforts connect BU initiatives to firmwide priorities and organizations.
Leads the measurement of change management effectiveness across BUs, tracking adoption and KPIs, escalating risks, and developing solutions to rightsize efforts as necessary.
Collaborates closely with Internal Communications to align and cascade messaging with key stakeholder groups (e.g., Partners, employees, departments, BU Leadership Teams).
Supports the alignment and cascading of roadmap updates to BU and firmwide leadership, including summary updates that help leaders align and communicate change to their teams.
Identifies and drives resolution of firmwide and BU-level change management gaps, formalizing governance between Firmwide and BU levels where inconsistencies exist.
Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging business processes, system architecture, and the FDG project portfolio to develop solutions consistent with business objectives.
