About The Position

The Senior Manager, OE Change Management & Enablement reports to the Director, Organizational Effectiveness, and is accountable for building and scaling enterprise change capability. This role designs and operationalizes the Change Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) enablement strategy—standards, governance, tools, learning, and community—to improve adoption outcomes and increase change maturity across the organization. As a CoE leader, you will partner with business and transformation teams to embed consistent change practices, strengthen readiness and resilience, and elevate change leadership at all levels. In this role you will: Help stand up Enterprise Change Management CoE and help deliver and evolve the mandate which includes and is not limited to: Help develop and maintain enterprise change management standards, governance and promote consistent application of standards: Support the creation and ongoing refinement of methodologies, frameworks, playbooks, templates, and toolkits. Oversee the development of learning pathways and certification (internal and/or external) to build enterprise capability. Drive alignment and scale enterprise change management best practices Scale change management capabilities through learning and practitioner support Partner with Learning and other internal change partners to design, develop and scale high impact change management tools, self-serve resources, and change management learning / training Engage external partners as needed to modernize practices (e.g., agility, human-centered design) and to benchmark against industry standards Help build and sustain a community that strengthens change leadership and capability across the enterprise. Facilitate knowledge sharing, peer coaching, and continuous improvement through forums and change networks / channels Provide change advisory and coaching as needed Offer strategic advisory and/or guidance to change practitioners, program teams, and leaders as needed Support scoping and set-up of change workstreams (sponsorship, impacts, communications, training, readiness) to enable program success. Collaborate with the broader Organizational Effectiveness team to integrate change practices Continuously improve the CoE offering using feedback, data, and evolving organizational needs; contribute to change maturity reporting. Provide change management input to broader organizational effectiveness initiatives (e.g., organizational design, role clarity, job evaluation) as required Support the Organizational Effectiveness Team to continually elevate the value of the Organizational Effectiveness CoE and support broader OE initiatives as needed: Developing, implementing and continuously improving Organization Design programs, processes and tools that are foundational for the Organizational Effectiveness CoE Finding meaningful ways to identify and incorporate leading practices, industry innovations and thought leadership to evolve and refine our methodologies and tools / resources Contribute to team planning and goal-setting; identify opportunities to strengthen how the team enables leaders and business partners. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, transformation, or related discipline, including experience operating in a CoE or enterprise enablement model.
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling learning, change methodologies, tools, and training in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all levels (including senior leaders).
  • Experience establishing governance, measurement, and reporting for change outcomes (e.g., adoption, readiness, sustainment).

Nice To Haves

  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP/CCMP) preferred.
  • Experience with agile ways of working, human-centered design, or behavioural science approaches is an asset.
  • Financial services or other regulated industry experience is an asset.
  • Global or multi-region transformation experience and/or additional language capability (e.g., Spanish) is an asset.
