About The Position

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Manager, Customer & Category – Walmart, to support our Sales organization based in Bentonville, Arkansas. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end commercial relationship with key customers, with full accountability for customer performance including revenue growth, margin expansion, forecast accuracy, and execution of strategic plans. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between TreeHouse Foods and customer stakeholders, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strong business results. This position offers the opportunity to drive growth through data-driven insights, collaborative planning, and execution of customer-specific strategies in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in customer management, sales, or related commercial functions with increasing scope and responsibility
  • Experience supporting Walmart or large retail customers preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and deliver results against revenue and margin targets
  • Strong business and financial acumen with understanding of profit and loss and pricing strategy
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams required
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with data and analytics tools such as Circana, SAP, and business intelligence platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong strategic relationships
  • Lead development and execution of customer specific strategies aligned to annual operating plan goals for revenue, margin, and share growth
  • Manage customer communications, align expectations, and proactively address business needs
  • Resolve escalated customer issues in partnership with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Operations teams
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally and provide actionable insights to drive business unit engagement
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and demand alignment through planning tools and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage customer annual operating plans in partnership with Commercial Finance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product availability and minimize allocation risk
  • Analyze customer and category performance using internal and external data tools to identify growth opportunities and address gaps
  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives in support of broader commercial objectives
  • Mentor and support development of junior team members
  • Manage a dynamic category portfolio with multiple seasonal priorities
