About The Position

The Senior Manager, Business Strategy leads the development and execution of key business plans and initiatives, driving performance improvements for the membership program. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify priorities, continuously experiment and learn, and implement acquisition initiatives that drive program growth. By leveraging data-driven insights and strategic decision-making, the Senior Manager ensures alignment with company goals while promoting integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the business. The Walmart+ Acquisition team drives growth by developing and executing strategies to attract and retain members. This team enhances signup experiences, crafts compelling introductory offers, and uses data-driven experimentation to optimize outcomes. Collaborating across functions, members leverage customer insights to inform decisions and improve performance. The team is dedicated to continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering value to customers. It fosters a supportive environment that encourages professional development, effective communication, and alignment with Walmart’s mission to provide outstanding service and value.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in strategic decision making and business planning to drive effective execution of multiple initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring, coaching, and collaborating with high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and remove obstacles to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and align teams with organizational goals.
  • Experience and comfortability with data to understand key trends and highlight growth opportunities.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 4 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.
