The primary responsibility of this full-time supervisory position is to manage all business activities. Under the direction and supervision of the Director and Partner, the Senior Manager is responsible for providing direct oversight to all Account Managers, including primary and offsite locations, to ensure all business activities and duties are adequately communicated, understood, and implemented.

Requirements

8+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports.
Ability to operate calculators, computer, and other general office equipment.
Knowledge of computerized accounting but must be able to do a manual set of books.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions, Payroll returns, Business tax license, Secretary of State filing and State Board of EqualizationBusiness

Nice To Haves

Datafaction and QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred.
CPA and CFP License is preferred
Prior experience in Business Management preferred.

Responsibilities

Leading Managing and Holding People Accountable (LMA)
Understand and assist in execution of growth strategies (research calls, pipeline mgmt., COPs, etc.)
Manage the engagement (job) project management, billing, ensures QC (technical) standards
Technical skills (tax knowledge, monthly accounting reports, investment reports)
Ensuring all staff responsible for billing are adequately oriented, trained, and overseen in the performance of billing activities in an effective, efficient manner.
Completes reports as assigned for Director or Partner.
Communicates regularly with regional offices to ensure compliance with billing and utilization processes.
Directs the training and development of supervised staff in the performance of billing and utilization processes, including developing training courses to address changes as they occur.
Responsible for the outcome measurement of billing and utilization activities; produces or helps produce annual reports for the Director or Partner.
