About The Position

The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence is a senior individual contributor on the Sales BI team within the Sales Business Office. The role develops and delivers analytics and insights for the Cox Automotive sales organization, combining hands-on BI expertise with leadership of AI-driven analytics. It serves as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and provides technical leadership through expertise and influence, without direct people-management responsibility. A central focus is leading the Sales BI team's AI transformation: setting direction, putting AI agents and generative BI into production, and demonstrating adoption and measurable business impact. The role co-owns the Sales BI roadmap, defines metrics and measurement frameworks, influences the BI and AI analytics infrastructure, leads complex cross-functional initiatives, and establishes reusable technical and analytical practices. It also builds the team's AI capabilities and helps analysts shift from traditional reporting to AI-augmented insight delivery. Success measures include assessing the BI stack and AI readiness and presenting a prioritized roadmap within the first 90 days; delivering at least two production AI agents or automated workflows used daily within six months, with adoption and time-saved metrics; and, within 12 months, establishing a governance-approved approach to scaling use cases while reducing manual reporting and expanding self-service and AI-generated insights. The position is hybrid, with the ability to work remotely part of the week. It is a day-shift role and requires travel approximately 5% of the time. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. A pre-employment drug test is required; the company states it does not currently test for marijuana for this position.
