About The Position

Business & Client Insights (BCI) serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, helping shape business priorities through analytics, business intelligence, strategic planning, and performance measurement. As the Senior Manager, Business & Client Insights, you will lead AFSG's analytics strategy and operating model, ensuring leaders have the business and client insights and recommendations needed to make informed business decisions that drive results. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of analytics initiatives that connect business priorities, performance metrics, client experience trends, and operational outcomes into a cohesive view of business health. You will partner closely with business and operations leaders to define analytics priorities, solve complex business questions, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and translate data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of managers and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation. Success in this role requires balancing operational excellence with capability building, modernizing analytics practices, championing data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality insights that create meaningful business value.

Requirements

Proven leader with 10+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in business intelligence, analytics, strategy, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated track record of building team capabilities, driving continuous improvement, and delivering reliable business outcomes.
Strong people leader who builds trust, drives engagement, and empowers high-performing teams by fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable culture.
Experience setting strategic direction, governing complex portfolios and translating business priorities into practical operating routines, measurable outcomes and sustained business value.
Trusted advisor who can influence senior leaders, challenge constructively, frame ambiguous problems and communicate conviction with a clear point of view.
Strong business acumen with analytical judgment, connecting internal performance to external, industry and broader business context.
Ability to anticipate business questions and translate them into analytical strategies, leveraging advanced analytics and AI to uncover opportunities, anticipate risks and influence critical business decisions.
Ability to guide technical resources from problem framing and method selection through delivery, adoption and value realization.
Technical fluency across modern analytics, data and reporting platforms, such as Databricks, SQL, Python and Power BI.
Ability to build high-performing, inclusive teams and develop talent through clear expectations, coaching, differentiated experiences, clarity and accountability.
