About The Position

The Senior Manager, Business Architecture owns the evolution of business architecture and ensures initiatives delivered by internal teams and technology partners remain aligned to target-state intent—translating strategy into implemented capabilities and shipped use cases.

Requirements

  • 10+ years total professional experience.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in business architecture, strategy-to-delivery alignment, transformation, portfolio/program environments, or related roles
  • 3+ years experience with cloud technologies supporting modern platforms and delivery execution
  • Demonstrated delivery partnership experience: translating architecture into delivery plans, backlogs, and implemented outcomes
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder influence skills (ability to communicate trade-offs and drive alignment across senior audiences)
  • Experience supporting data, analytics, or AI transformations
  • Understanding of data platforms, cloud, and AI concepts and their implications for business capabilities and operating models.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear traceability from strategy → roadmap → capabilities → initiatives.
  • Refresh and manage a multi-year business architecture roadmap, aligning initiatives (e.g., platform modernization, AI enablement, transformation programs).
  • Continuously refine the roadmap based on evolving priorities, dependencies, and value realization.
  • Keep business architecture current by working closely with internal teams and technology partners to reflect platform changes, constraints, and new opportunities (e.g., cloud and data platform evolution).
  • Partner closely with business and technology teams to ensure architecture translates into executable solutions and implemented use cases.
  • Support solution design and backlog shaping to ensure alignment with the business architecture and roadmap intent.
  • Provide ongoing guidance during delivery to resolve design trade-offs, scope decisions, and cross-initiative dependencies.
  • Ensure delivered solutions remain aligned to the target state architecture and intended business outcomes.
  • Act as the connective layer between strategic design and delivery execution—closing gaps between planning and build.
  • Working with Intake team to ensure initiatives are clearly defined (problem, scope, outcomes, value).
  • Align initiatives to strategy and architecture principles; maintain traceability from strategy to outcomes.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to enablement team to shape strategy through process and transformation design.
  • Align business, IT, data, and PMO stakeholders while maintaining clear ownership boundaries.
  • Facilitate resolution of cross-functional conflicts (process, prioritization, design trade-offs).
  • Influence senior leaders with clarity and pragmatism (strong executive communication and presentation).
