About The Position

The Business Management & Governance (BMG) team supports Canadian Personal Banking (CPB) across departments by providing appropriate Business Governance & Control (1LOD) functions, aligning to the Enterprise Risk Framework (ERF) which employs a 'three lines of defense' model to risk management that emphasizes and balances strong independent oversight with clear ownership for risk across the Bank. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future-state operating model for 1LOD risk oversight in CPB by identifying where work can be simplified, digitized, automated, or redesigned to improve effectiveness, reduce operational burden, and create capacity for higher-value risk insight. The successful candidate will help translate strategic priorities into practical roadmaps, lead cross-functional delivery, and partner across process, IA, technology, and business communities to build scalable solutions that strengthen risk ownership and control effectiveness. This role is ideal for a strategic, curious, and action-oriented leader who is energized by transformation, comfortable working through ambiguity, and motivated by the opportunity to modernize risk management in a large, complex financial institution.
