About The Position

Requirements
- 5+ years of software development and architecture experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven track record managing large-scale enterprise technology initiatives in complex environments
- Strong expertise in modern development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices architecture)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the financial services or banking industry
- Certification in project management (PMP, SAFe) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud-native architectures, blockchain)

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional development and business systems analyst team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for Archer Development, aligning initiatives with RBC's strategic objectives
- Oversee solution design, development, and deployment of enterprise solutions using modern architecture and best practices
- Drive stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Champion agile methodologies and DevOps practices to accelerate time-to-market and operational excellence
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring robust security, compliance, and data governance
