Responsibilities

  • Consults with senior leadership and business partners to understand goals, identify business challenges, and develop strategies to mitigate issues.
  • Contributes to business area strategic planning by providing actionable recommendations based on advanced research and analytical findings.
  • Builds and leads a team to execute on business objectives, coaching team members, and providing feedback for skill enhancement.
  • Owns and manages complex projects end-to-end for a business area, category, or prototype, including risk management.
  • Develops data models, algorithms, and approaches for complex projects to drive business results and value.
  • Manages the development, implementation, testing, and validation of prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms.
  • Evaluates new data analysis techniques to support prototype development.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners (e.g., software engineering, category management) on prototypes and algorithms.
  • Leads the development and execution of advanced analytics to address business and technical problems and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Makes strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership based on analysis results.
  • Collaborates across all analytics functions to develop and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, developing plans, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, and adjusting performance.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Ensures business needs are met by evaluating the effectiveness of current plans and initiatives, and seeking improvements.
