About the Role: As a Senior Manager, Accounting at ShopMy, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the financial infrastructure that supports our continued growth. You'll own the day-to-day accounting function, bring a strong audit mindset to everything you touch, and partner cross-functionally to ensure our financial data is accurate, prepared timely, and built to scale. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of something category-defining.

Requirements

5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in audit
CPA license
Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards and demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and write up technical accounting positions and memos
Familiarity with modern accounting tools and a track record of process improvement
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Strong communicator who can translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Industry relevant experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup environment
NetSuite ERP system experience

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations ,variance explanations and financial reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data across the business
Bring a strong audit mindset to internal controls, compliance, and financial processes
Research technical accounting matters, and prepare clear, well supported memos for audit and financial reporting purposes
Apply industry-relevant accounting knowledge to navigate the nuances of a high-growth technology and creator economy company
Identify opportunities to improve and scale accounting systems and workflows as the business grows
Support external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements as needed
