The Sustainability & Climate Consulting (SSC) practice, built on the experience of Sustain Plus, provides end-to-end services in Sustainability, Climate Action, and Corporate Responsibility, aiming to guide sustainable transformation for a more balanced planet. Their Tech Consulting approach addresses business problems holistically by integrating expertise in finance, risk, and sustainability with advanced technological capabilities, harnessing human expertise combined with data, AI, and algorithms, while ensuring solutions prioritize security, privacy, and governance. Uniqus's purpose is to integrate consulting & technology, offering talent a unique multi-disciplinary experience and enabling remote, seamless work across national boundaries through their cloud delivery model.

Requirements

  • You bring 10+ years in public accounting with strong specialization in US GAAP advisory.
  • At least 5 of those years have been spent in a senior management role.
  • CPA is mandatory.
  • You’re well-versed in managing global teams and understand the dynamics of cross-border collaboration.
  • You have a proven record of identifying growth opportunities and delivering value to clients.
  • You possess exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, and you’re passionate about building relationships — internally and externally.
  • You thrive in evolving environments and have the vision to improve processes and the discipline to execute them.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications like CFA, CIA, or CISA are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Accounting Engagements Deliver expert guidance on US GAAP standards (ASC 606, 842, 805, 480, 815), help clients navigate complex transactions, and support adoption of new standards.
  • Oversee Global Delivery Operations Optimize collaboration with offshore teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment through strong SLAs and performance metrics.
  • Drive Business Development Identify new client opportunities, craft winning proposals, and serve as a trusted advisor to expand and strengthen relationships.
  • Advise on Financial Reporting & Transactions Oversee US GAAP and SEC-compliant financial statements, support M&A and restructuring efforts, and prepare clients for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Strengthen Internal Controls & Risk Management Design and evaluate ICFR frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and recommend improvements to enhance compliance.
  • Lead & Grow Global Teams Mentor cross-functional teams, champion knowledge sharing, and cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture.
