The Senior Manager, Account Receivable, leads the execution of financial and operational strategies to optimize accounts receivable processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control standards. This role involves overseeing team development, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The position requires strong financial acumen, analytical expertise, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable plans. The Senior Manager will collaborate across functions to support organizational goals and maintain high standards of integrity and service excellence. About the team: The Accounts Receivable team plays a vital role in safeguarding the organization’s financial integrity by managing the full cycle of incoming payments and customer account reconciliation. Responsibilities include accurate billing, dispute resolution, cash application, and collections management. The team ensures transparent transactions, maintains a clean general ledger, and manages outstanding balances effectively. Collaboration within the team promotes high standards of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. What you'll do: Lead and oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate risks and enhance process efficiency. Manage stakeholder relationships by collaborating with business partners to align financial strategies and operational needs. Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast impacts, and recommend actionable solutions. Mentor team members, fostering performance development and accountability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and service delivery. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and support system enhancements related to statutory changes. What you'll bring: Deep expertise in accounts receivable, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. Strong background in internal controls, risk assessment, fraud detection, and forecasting Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and cost savings. Solid understanding of transportation and supply chain drivers of claims, including shortages, carrier damage, and cargo theft. Effective cross-functional partner with Transportation, DC/Operations, QA, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve disputes and reduce financial impact. Highly analytical problem-solver skilled at identifying trends and reducing claim volume and cycle time.
