Our Resources Business Group is seeking a Senior Management Consultant to support the growth and delivery of management consulting services for infrastructure‑intensive clients across North America. The primary responsibility of the Senior Management Consultant is to lead and support business performance improvement initiatives for public and private infrastructure owners. This role combines management consulting, infrastructure management, and operational excellence expertise to help clients improve service delivery, asset performance, and organizational effectiveness. Our typical services include operational and organizational assessments, operating model design, capital and asset management planning, governance and performance framework development, business case development, and implementation support. A key component of this role is integrating management consulting best practices with infrastructure, engineering, and asset management experience to deliver practical, client‑focused outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or closely related field
  • A minimum of 10 years consulting experience and extensive related expertise
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational and follow-up skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience delivering consulting services to infrastructure‑intensive organizations.
  • Strong reputation for producing high‑quality, detail‑oriented, client‑ready deliverables
  • Experience working with infrastructure sectors such as power, water/wastewater, waste services, industrial, or transportation.
  • Familiarity with EAM/CMMS platforms, GIS, and operational analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Planning, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%25.
  • Combination of management consulting expertise and infrastructure or engineering experience.
  • Experience developing operating models, performance frameworks, asset management plans, governance documentation, and KPIs.
  • Professional certifications such as P.Eng., PMP, IAM, Lean/Six Sigma, or Prosci are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • As a seller-doer, contribute to growing the Management Consulting practice while delivering high‑quality consulting services to infrastructure clients.
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary business performance improvement and transformation projects for infrastructure owners.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on complex consulting engagements.
  • Independently produce high‑quality, client‑ready deliverables, including reports, presentations, and executive‑level summaries.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposal development and interview activities.
  • Collaborate with technical, engineering, and advisory leaders across the firm to identify cross‑sector and geographic opportunities.
  • Lead or support the development of strategic transformation roadmaps, business cases, and benefits realization models.
  • Facilitate client workshops, interviews, and working sessions with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Apply infrastructure management, operational excellence, and performance improvement frameworks to client challenges.
  • Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the consulting practice.
