About The Position

The Newport Beach Municipal Operations Department seeks a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Senior Management Analyst (Trash & Recycle). This position will oversee the development of the Trash & Recycle Division work plan and methods; assign work activities, projects and programs; monitor the work of contractors performing refuse collection work for the City; and implement policies and procedures and develop new or modified systems, policies and procedures. The position will also develop and implement refuse collection routes and schedules; and inspect work sites and collection routes before, during and after completion to assure work is completed in a satisfactory and thorough manner.

Requirements

Four years of increasingly responsible professional level administrative experience.
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, public administration, economics, or a related field.
A valid and appropriate California driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
Must successfully complete a thorough background review, including being fingerprinted.
