Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive quarterly portfolio reviews for managed accounts to ensure strict adherence to regulatory and firm compliance standards
  • Review and approve New Account Application forms by examining clients’ Investment Policy Statements and assessing the suitability of the suggested allocations for each client
  • Take ownership of end-to-end projects through effective collaboration with cross-functional colleagues from various departments
  • Provide comprehensive training to Portfolio Managers on the onboarding process for the managed or discretionary platform while fostering strong working relationships with them and their respective teams.
  • Resolve and deescalate issues received from our business partners by identifying and implementing effective solutions that not only meet our partners’ needs but also align with our regulatory and firm requirements
  • Participate in committee meetings with our business partners and provide a compliance perspective into the discussions on various topics
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and maintain open communication with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure that the organization is consistently compliant.
  • Collaborate in the development and maintenance of the IAPW Policies and Procedures and controls specifically tailored to managed accounts, ensuring they are up to date with changing regulations and firm policies
