About The Position

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Major Account Executive for the Benelux region to act as a Market Architect. This role involves challenging the status quo and helping CTOs and CISOs rethink their entire architecture. The mission is to build, challenge, and lead, creating demand rather than just capturing it. The Market Maker will identify how global Benelux enterprises can leverage Cloudflare's network to accelerate digital transformation and construct complex, high-impact deals. The Challenger will engage senior IT, security, and business stakeholders, acting as a trusted consultant and guiding technology leaders through shifts to SASE, Zero Trust, and AI-native environments. The Leader will orchestrate the eco-system, acting as the Captain of the account team, mobilizing cross-functional resources to deliver value-based outcomes and managing the complexity of global accounts with a worldwide footprint. The role requires owning the full lifecycle from prospecting to closing, treating the territory as a business that requires strategic planning and execution.

Requirements

• 12+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally within high-growth cybersecurity or cloud-native environments.
• A track record of selling complex solutions to large enterprises in the Benelux.
• System Thinker: Understands how networks and security function in cloud-first and AI-forward environments.
• Challenger: Comfortable pushing back to ensure the client gets the solution they actually need, utilizing a consultative style to drive consensus.

• Identify how global Benelux enterprises can leverage our network to accelerate their digital transformation.
• Construct complex, high-impact deals that transform how a company operates, driving both new business and significant expansion.
• Engage senior IT, security, and business stakeholders to challenge their assumptions.
• Guide technology leaders through the shift to SASE, Zero Trust, and AI-native environments.
• Mobilize and lead a cross-functional "village", including Solutions Engineers, Product leaders, and Marketing to deliver value-based outcomes.
• Manage the complexity of Benelux-HQ'd organizations with a worldwide footprint, ensuring their global security strategy is cohesive and resilient.
• Own the full lifecycle, from prospecting to closing, treating your patch as a business that requires strategic planning and execution.
