About The Position
The Maintenance Technician will work with a team of technicians supporting preventive and corrective maintenance of critical lab and office systems at Cytiva headquarters. This hands-on role requires an experienced professional skilled in troubleshooting complex utility equipment with minimal supervision. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the Facilities and Production Equipment department located in Marlborough, MA and will be an on-site role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Massachusetts Licensed Electrician or Refrigeration Technician
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a maintenance technician or licensed skilled trade with extensive knowledge in two of the following areas: electrical, automation/controls, calibrations, plumbing/pipefitting, wastewater operations, HVAC-R, boilers/steam systems, RODI/WFI systems, pumps.
Nice To Haves
- Licensed MA wastewater treatment operator.
- Experience working around lab environments.
- Experience working with a CMMS, preferably Infor EAM.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on complex utility equipment/systems that support building lab environments.
- Operate and monitor building utility systems in support of lab operations or equipment/system maintenance.
- Document all work activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Schedule and supervise external service vendors performing maintenance activities on site.
