About The Position

The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall operational efficiency of Morgan Li’s facilities, equipment, and production systems. This role serves as a key member of the maintenance team, ensuring maintenance activities are completed effectively, safely, and in a timely manner to support uninterrupted operations. Responsibilities include inspecting facilities and equipment to maintain a clean, safe, and production-ready work environment; performing preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the plant; troubleshooting and repairing machinery and building systems; and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Maintenance Technician is also responsible for helping ensure 2nd Shift production runs efficiently while overseeing and completing scheduled machine preventive maintenance (PM) activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of maintenance training and/or related maintenance work experience required.
  • 5S, lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Business English are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Technical certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, PLC troubleshooting, or related skilled trades are preferred.
  • OSHA safety training or forklift certification is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support plant operations and field operations to ensure equipment, machinery, and facility systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Provide maintenance support for additional projects and operational needs as assigned.
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Perform seasonal preparation activities, including equipment readiness, inspections, and coordinating necessary materials and supplies.
  • Layout, assemble, install, and align machinery, equipment, and related components according to operational requirements.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs or replacements on worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
