About The Position

Ocado Group operates highly automated Customer Fulfillment Centers (CFCs) using its Ocado Smart Platform and advanced robotics technology. The Senior Maintenance Technician performs reactive and planned engineering maintenance and improvement work on mechanical handling equipment, including conveyor networks, lifts, cranes, and belts, at a CFC. The role supports the facility’s operational goals and equipment reliability, and may also contribute to engineering installation and commissioning projects. The position reports directly to the shift-assigned Engineering Team Manager and includes prioritizing maintenance work and mentoring assigned Maintenance Engineers. During a facility’s initial startup, day-to-day duties may differ; once the facility is commissioned, the responsibilities described in the posting become the role’s regular duties. The operation runs 24/7, and the shift pattern requires nights and weekends.
