The Research and Administrative Facilities (RAF) department manages the operations and maintenance of research and administrative buildings, including both the Bastrop and Smithville campuses. The RAF team also includes parking and transportation, audio visual and event operations, as well as the exterior site operations, all of which support all the Houston campuses and properties. The RAF team values honesty, openness, empowerment and expects everyone to lead by example. The ideal candidate will have at least a 3rd grade stationary engineer license issued by the City of Houston. The primary purpose of the Senior Maintenance Technician position is to perform skilled sub journeyman-level work in a designated craft. It impacts routine maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment, systems, buildings, and grounds.
