About The Position

The Senior Maintenance & Reliability Manager ensures uninterrupted site manufacturing and support activities, with no facilities shortages or related issues, and achieves compliance with local legal regulations and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment management systems and standards. The role manages and maintains site facilities, buildings, and equipment, including hardware and software. The manager develops a strategic facilities roadmap and annual operating plan in partnership with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and service providers. The role establishes governance for operational performance and continuous improvement, and leads building and facilities maintenance capabilities, repairs, and operations. It also ensures business continuity plans, manufacturing standards, and government regulations are understood, reviewed, and effectively implemented. The position leads and coaches the Facilities team in applying IL6S (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma) practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance, technical mastery, Progressive Maintenance, condition-based monitoring, visual controls, tools management, lubrication management, and equipment calibration. The manager builds technical and engineering capability through coaching and mentoring, develops succession and resource plans, and identifies ways to attract, retain, and develop critical talent. The role also maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and deliver company objectives.

Requirements

Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in the CPG industry.
Experience with TPM, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma tools and concepts, Safety, and GMP standards.
Engineering background.
Strong financial and business acumen.
Project management skills.
Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
Progressive Maintenance expertise.
Spare parts management knowledge.
End-user knowledge of the SAP PM module.
Basic knowledge of technology and engineering automation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Coaching and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
Demonstrated analytics, problem-solving, and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic facilities roadmap and annual operating plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Engagement goals.
Establish governance to review and control operational performance and continuous improvement plans.
Lead and ensure the availability of building maintenance programs, facilities maintenance capabilities, repairs, and overall operations.
Ensure adherence to the business continuity plan and that employees and service providers understand applicable manufacturing standards and government regulations.
Review and monitor implementation of standards and regulations for effectiveness.
Lead and coach the Facilities team in IL6S ways of working and strategies to prevent breakdowns.
Apply preventive and predictive maintenance, Progressive Maintenance, condition-based monitoring, visual controls, tools management, lubrication management, and equipment calibration practices.
Coach and mentor the plant technical and engineering team to develop skills and use modern practices.
Create a people succession and resource plan for the asset and technology population, and implement approaches to attract, retain, and develop critical talent.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning priorities to deliver company objectives.
