About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking 12 Senior Hogan IDS Developers for a client-led customer engagement. Consultants will join a large-scale service delivery program and perform Hogan IDS application development within an IBM mainframe environment. The work is fully remote within the United States, with consultants working in customer-directed delivery teams and collaborating with client project managers and technical stakeholders. The client owns project management, work prioritization, technical direction, and delivery accountability; TEKsystems manages recruiting, onboarding coordination, consultant engagement, and consultant care. The engagement is a full-time contract initially expected to last six to twelve months or longer, with a high likelihood of extension as part of a multi-year mainframe modernization program. The position is based out of Round Rock, Texas, but is remote across the United States. Preferred locations include Charlotte, New York, Columbus, Phoenix, Raleigh, and Minneapolis, though qualified candidates nationwide will be considered. The pay range is $65.00–$75.00 per hour. Individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Requirements

At least 6 years of IBM Mainframe experience.
Demonstrated Hogan IDS experience; this is mandatory.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Experience working remotely as a consultant within enterprise delivery teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with project managers, developers, business stakeholders, and technical leads.
Availability for a full-time remote contract engagement.
Authorization to work in accordance with customer and compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

Banking, deposits, or financial services experience may be beneficial.
Experience with Hogan CIS, Hogan ILP, Hogan Umbrella, or Hogan FSS.
DDA/TDA deposit platform experience.
Conversion or data mapping project experience.
Production support experience.
File processing and job flow analysis experience.
Experience with EasyTrieve, Assembler, CICS, or VSAM.
Experience with production support, conversion efforts, Hogan modules, or advanced mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned Hogan IDS application development work in an IBM mainframe environment.
Use COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IBM mainframe expertise to complete development work.
Communicate status and project dependencies to the delivery team.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Follow established customer development, testing, security, and documentation processes.
Collaborate with client project managers, developers, business stakeholders, and technical leads.
