Machinist Senior

Nesco Resource•Devens, MA

About The Position

The Senior Machinist sets up and operates conventional and numerically controlled machining equipment to produce precision, complex components. The position works with limited guidance in a team environment, follows established manufacturing processes, and makes appropriate machine adjustments to consistently produce quality parts. Candidates need hands-on experience with tight-tolerance machining, machine setups, blueprint reading, and precision inspection. The hiring manager is specifically seeking experience machining and inspecting parts to tolerances of .003 inches or better, with inspection capabilities involving tolerances of less than .0005 inches. Candidates should be prepared to state the tightest tolerance they have personally machined and consistently held. The role is on first shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. It is subject to applicable U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements. Nesco Resource offers associates a benefits package that includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan encompassing medical, vision, dental, 401(k), and EAP services.
