About The Position

Darigold is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Logistics Specialist – Domestic & Export. The Senior Logistics Specialist – Domestic & Export is responsible for planning and executing domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of goods across multiple modes. This role coordinates with cross-functional teams to achieve on-time, in-full (OTIF) metrics, monitors route guide execution and ensures compliance with both domestic transportation standards and international export regulatory guidelines. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain experience, including Domestic and International operations.
  • Strong proven business acumen.

  • Advanced understanding of Global Freight Operations, Incoterms (International Commerce Terms) and international payment terms, ensuring proper financial, logistical and legal alignment throughout the end-to-end export process.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business or equivalent experience in relevant roles is preferred.
  • Previous TMS experience preferred (Oracle OTM preferred).
  • Experience in the dairy industry is preferred, with knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements, product handling standards and export compliance nuances.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor and manage shipment activities in support of route guide execution for Sales orders, Transfer orders and Inbound Purchase orders.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate execution and support OTIF metrics.
  • Plan and execute spot bid awards, tenders and shipments for route guide exceptions.
  • Execute order consolidation and mode optimization across domestic shipments.
  • Review, validate and approve accessorial charges to shipment records in TMS.
  • Monitor and manage service provider tracking events in TMS.
  • Assist with dock scheduling intervention as needed.
  • Create and manage steamship line bookings, coordinate dray moves and execute the full order/shipment lifecycle to meet export shipping requirements.
  • Coordinate domestic dray and ocean container export shipments for dry and refrigerated cargo.
  • Track and monitor contract compliance to ensure all documentation and regulatory requirements are met, including Shipping Instructions, Customs filing in the Automated Export System (AES) and International documentation.
  • Contribute to the team management of an average of 150 Ocean FEU Reefer and Dry containers monthly, ensuring efficient planning, tracking and execution of all export operational tasks.
  • Communicate with customers to provide shipping and documentation updates.
  • Ensure escalations are brought to management in a timely manner for quick resolution.
  • Report on OTIF and other service metrics to stakeholder groups; present KPIs in daily/weekly team meetings for problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Lead service provider scorecard reviews to increase operational performance.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action plans for service providers.
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts to optimize TMS routing guide.
  • Development and maintenance of process documentation.
  • Manage day-to-day workflow processes to meet KPIs.
  • Provide after-hours, weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company, legal, food safety and other regulations.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned.
