About The Position

This program ensures proper development and acquisition of the combat and weapons control systems for both in-service and new construction ships. The Senior Logistics Management Analyst will be responsible for overarching program management support; administrative functions; program-level support regarding in-service logistics, modernization, and life cycle support; overarching programmatic financial management; implementation of business process improvement; developing senior-level financial or logistical briefings; tracking, providing status updates, and processing a wide variety of tasks to completion; identifying and correcting data errors, and providing recommended solutions. This role is a HYBRID role, employees will start out on-site and then transition into a hybrid schedule of 2-3 times per week on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent and 8+ years of experience with Acquisition Logistics.
  • 5+ years of experience with Navy Program Management (NAVSEA, Submarines Preferred)
  • Ability to develop spend plans
  • Active Secret clearance
  • US citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
  • Ability to develop/document/implement new processes
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, and MS Word
  • Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team environment
  • Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in-person at the Washington, D.C. WNY

Nice To Haves

  • NAVSEA and/or Team Submarine experience
  • Understanding of DOW Integrated Product Support Elements and their implementation
  • Familiarization with and possessing the ability to update and maintain programmatic ILS documentation associated with Integrated Logistics Assessments (ex. LCSP, CM, NTSP, IUID, DMSMS Plans, etc.)
  • Experience working with various Navy Logistics entities such as NAVSUP, Naval Undersea Warfare Centers and collaboration with multiple Program Offices and vendors
  • Ability to review installation drawings, Engineering Change Instructions and Ship Alterations for configuration accountability

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with various stakeholders, maintaining an action tracker to ensure tasks are completed correctly, comprehensively, and on time.
  • Maintenance of financial trackers, participation in various meetings, and assisting with the monitoring of cost and schedule impacts.
  • Consolidation of comments and the evaluation of briefs, reports, naval messages, and validating that Logistics Products and overall ILS Certification progress are tracking to on-time completion via coordinating across multiple other programs and organizations.
  • In-office attendance is required on a hybrid basis.
  • All support contractors are required to be available/provide coverage when their Government lead/client is out of the office. They should at the maximum extent possible be in the office when the Government POC is unavailable.
