About The Position

Based in Norfolk, Virginia, USA, the Senior Logistician will join the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) as it transforms its IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. The position is part of CSU Norfolk, which manages, delivers, and maintains assigned Communications and Information Systems (CIS) products and services for Agency customers during peacetime, crisis, and war throughout its assigned area of responsibility and as otherwise directed. The role works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) processes and operations, coordinates inventory management across locations, develops and analyzes logistics plans, and supports asset property accounting records for NCIA entities and external customers within the CSU area of responsibility.

Requirements

Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years of post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years of post-related experience.
Experience in Supply, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Work with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations.
Coordinate daily inventory management work across different locations within a facility or supply network.
Develop and analyze logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory.
Recognize software systems or components used to manage the supply chain.
Analyze and document warehouse management key performance indicators in the assigned area.
Assist in maintaining NCIA CIS Assets Property Accounting Records for NCIA entities and external customers within the CSU area of responsibility.
