About The Position
Saalex is seeking a Senior Logistician to provide logistics and configuration management support for electronic, engineering, and combat systems. The work includes system modernization, maintenance, sustainment, technical documentation, and Integrated Logistics Support activities. The position is full-time and contingent upon contract award, based in Port Hueneme, California, with an annual salary of $75,000–$81,000 depending on experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics support of electronic or engineering systems, combat systems Configuration Management, or combat systems modernization.
- Strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management (CM).
- Experience working with technical manuals.
- Ability to support logistics and configuration activities involving complex technical systems.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- U.S. citizenship and a security investigation are requirements to obtain a clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting U.S. Navy combat systems or related Department of Defense programs.
- Experience supporting combat system modernization, maintenance, or sustainment activities.
- Experience working with engineering and technical teams in a defense environment.
- Experience developing, reviewing, or maintaining technical and logistics documentation.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide logistics support for electronic, engineering, and combat systems.
- Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities associated with system maintenance, sustainment, and modernization efforts.
- Support Configuration Management (CM) activities for combat systems and related equipment.
- Assist with the management and control of system configuration documentation and technical information.
- Review, maintain, and support technical manuals and other logistics documentation.
- Support combat system modernization activities and associated logistics requirements.
- Coordinate logistics and configuration management information with engineering, technical, maintenance, and program personnel.
- Assist in identifying and resolving logistics and configuration issues affecting system supportability.
- Support the development, review, and maintenance of logistics and technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
