About The Position

The Healthcare Senior Loan Closer is a support role working directly with loans, inquiries, and items directly related to client satisfaction with the U.S. Bank relationship while working alongside the Healthcare Relationship Managers and Practice Finance Business Development Officers. Supports sales teams in executing a One Bank strategy and growing market share. Responsible for retaining and deepening client relationships by providing exceptional client experience and support that is knowledgeable, timely and professional.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight or more years of job-related experience

  • Considerable knowledge of departmental and bank products and services
  • Proven customer service and problem resolution skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including nCino, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Three or more years of previous real estate loan administration experience or real estate paralegal experience
  • Experience in receiving and implementing performance feedback and coaching
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Experience deepening relationships over the phone with clients

Responsibilities

  • Reviews loan approval and loan documents prepared by internal teams and outside counsel
  • Ensuring borrowers and lenders pay all fees and setting up an escrow if needed
  • Collects required documentation from client based on loan conditions. Monitors closing documentation requirements
  • Building relationships with clients and managing their expectations for documentation and timing.
  • Identifies and delivers to client's needs through loan closing process
  • Ensuring compliance with all loan requirements, regulatory requirements, and approval conditions
  • Identifying issues during the due diligence phase and working with others to find solutions
  • Communicating with title and closing agents, outside counsel, borrower and others to ensure accurate documentation
  • Collaborating on and implementing new hire and continuing education methodology and resources for the Loan Closing team
  • Hold a pipeline of 12-16 loans, closing 5-7 per month
  • Take on complex, advanced loan types
  • Act as mentor for team
  • Responsible for maintenance of Healthcare Lending playbook
  • Owns all aspects of training components for closing team
  • Independently works with partners to create and maintain training for Closing team
  • Discovers and implements creative ways to continue education for current Closers and onboard new Closers
  • Stay updated on all enhancements and soon to come items for closing team.
  • Organize special projects to continue the advancement of Healthcare and the closing team
  • Maintains strong relationships with team while being able to train and upskill closers on identified areas by management
