About The Position

The RiverWoods Group is seeking a full-time Senior Living Sales Counselor to join their sales and marketing team. This role is responsible for driving occupancy and revenue growth for supportive living in RiverWoods Communities of Exeter/Durham. The Sales Counselor will guide seniors and families through the decision-making process, conduct tours, explain services and pricing, and maintain ongoing communication from initial inquiry through move-in. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and continued education in sales or marketing.
  • Minimum of two years sales experience in the marketing, administrative or business field.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours of lead status from prospective resident(s) or families.
  • Explain RiverWoods history, non-profit advantage, levels of care, contract types, services and care options.
  • Conduct initial presentation tours of community, working with residents, families and children for showings of Healthcare Centers (Lodge).
  • Manage the sales pipeline by utilizing technology to enhance the sales process, including outbound sales calls, zoom meetings, in person presentations, virtual presentations and group presentations. Includes Salesforce, Zoom, Microsoft TEAMS, Outlook, Docusign, Word, Excel, WebEx.
  • Foster relationships with prospective and future residents to ascertain the compatibility with RiverWoods.
  • Create weekly waitlist reports for leadership and assist with availability/move in planner schedules for community marketing teams.
  • Meet community sales goals for supportive living occupancy per community.
  • Review/study of all Waitlist agreements, Resident & Care agreements (per RiverWoods Community) and forms used for Deposits/Closings/Move-Ins – Use of Docusign, PDFs and Word documents.
  • Understand and ensure the effective process of collection of CDPs from prospects, scheduling health assessments, confirming timing of closing and move-in.
  • Work with Healthcare Services to gain weekly insight into availability for levels of care, future openings and respite stays that affect community occupancy goals.
  • Maintain waitlist records and readiness for open availability for RiverWoods communities (Exeter, Durham) and referrals to Manchester.
  • Collection of all waitlist deposits and entrance fee payments in accordance with RiverWoods standards and policy.
  • Consistent Salesforce utilization: Leads, data entry, activity tasks and logging of tours and assessments.
  • Consistent communication with other community departments regarding scheduled tours and visits by prospective residents, including scheduling meals.
  • Communication process with Move-in Coordinator for apartment refurbishment, key-connection documentation and move in process for supportive living.
  • Host and present educational events to attract prospective residents and maintain engagement.
  • Review campaigns for attendance, assist in creating programs and presentations for both live and for virtual events.
  • Brainstorming for event calendar, rolling 6 and 12 months with marketing team members.
  • Outside networking in local area for awareness of RiverWoods direct admission opportunities.
