CoinFlip is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Litigation Paralegal to support its legal team in managing disputes, regulatory matters, and litigation. This role will play a key part in coordinating case strategy, maintaining documentation, and ensuring efficient legal operations in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (in-house or law firm)
Experience with e-discovery tools and document management systems
Familiarity with regulatory or financial services litigation is strongly preferred
Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, or highly regulated industries is a plus
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and compliance teams

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains
General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
Draft and manage legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence
Coordinate with outside counsel and manage case-related communications
Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines across multiple matters
Track and organize evidence, exhibits, and document productions
Support e-discovery processes, including document review and production
Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries, subpoenas, and enforcement actions
Conduct legal and regulatory research related to cryptocurrency, financial services, and money transmission laws
Help maintain records related to compliance investigations and disputes
Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to gather information relevant to legal matters
Assist in internal investigations and fact-finding efforts
Support the development of internal policies and procedures related to litigation risk
Manage legal billing, vendor coordination, and document management systems
Prepare reports and summaries for internal stakeholders
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
Other duties as assigned
