Senior Linux Systems Engineer (Unannounced Project)

We are seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the creation of a cloud-based infrastructure to support our company's operations and game development. In this role, you will utilize Linux to support game services and server hosting, focusing on automation and deployment using Docker. Additionally, you will be involved in migrating development infrastructure to Linux on AWS, improving overall company infrastructure, and participating in an on-call rotation. We are looking for someone who is approachable, knowledgeable, and passionate about maintaining performance, high coding standards, and efficient code architecture.

• Utilize Linux to support hosting game services and the game server
• Automate scaling and use Docker for packaging and deployment
• Assist in migrating development infrastructure to Linux on AWS
• Work on automation for non-game services such as the build system
• Improve overall company infrastructure
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Maintain performance, high coding standards, and efficient code architecture
• Work to keep tech debt under control
• Help develop and evolve good practices for workflow improvement
• Plan, estimate, and communicate effectively for achieving goals on complex projects
