About The Position

Design, build, maintain, and secure critical network infrastructure supporting defense and intelligence customer missions. Develop and execute scalable network solutions; perform hands-on hardware and software installations for routers, switches, and firewalls; and enforce robust network security policies. Work closely with Linux systems to monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through proactive metrics and automated alerting. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. The annual base salary range is $158,000–$187,000 USD, excluding discretionary bonus compensation and benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level, among other factors.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Proven ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
Ability to enforce firewall rules, access controls, and network security protocols.
Strong working proficiency with Linux operating systems.
Active CCNA or CCNP certification.
Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
Experience monitoring network health, analyzing traffic patterns, and managing network documentation, policies, and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 12 or more years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience; or a high school diploma/GED plus 16 or more years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Juniper and Cisco routers/switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Dell/HPE Linux servers.
Hands-on Linux systems administration experience, including server patching, kernel upgrades, and network resource management.
Exposure to infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, SALT scripts, and Nomad containers.
Familiarity with Nutanix VM management, Rubrik data storage, LibreNMS network monitoring, and NetBox IPAM/DCIM.
