The Linux operating system platform serves as the foundation for critical business functions, including semi-real-time transaction authorization processes for card acquiring and issuing. The successful candidate will ensure that the underlying Linux OS layer and associated application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, etc.) are architected, configured, and optimized for maximum availability, performance, and security. This role requires a senior engineer who combines deep infrastructure expertise with migration experience and strong cross-border collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Advanced system administration experience with RedHat (RHEL) and Oracle Linux.
  • Practical experience in configuring and maintaining JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, OHS, WildFly, or Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge and practical usage of Ansible and Rundeck.
  • Proficient scripting skills in Bash or Python for task automation.
  • Solid understanding of cryptography issues (PKI, PGP) and enterprise IP network management.
  • Hands-on experience navigating the complexities and challenges of large-scale application migrations (Data Center to Data Center).
  • Understanding of scalability, monitoring, and resilience for mass transaction processing or semi-real-time online transaction systems.
  • Experience working in a global, distributed infrastructure setup across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent written and spoken Polish and English to bridge communications between local and international teams.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex environment issues quickly under project pressure.
  • High accountability for product quality, with a track record of meeting commitments.
  • Strong knowledge-sharing mindset, ability to compromise, and build robust relationships within a global matrix organization.
