About The Position

The Senior Line Review Consultant leads the end-to-end creation and quality assurance of Deal Letters (Line Review / Product Assortment Guide) to ensure they are retail-ready, accurate, and easy for Dealers (Store Owners) to execute. This role mentors the Line Review Consultant team as a subject matter expert, leads issue/obstacle mitigation for complex deals, and partners cross-functionally (Merchandising, Space Planning, Supply Chain, Translations, Packaging & QA, Deal Management) to deliver on-time communications and drive process improvements, supported by strong Excel skills and automation capabilities (VBA and/or Python). Using Category Business Managers’ assortment decisions, you will translate requirements into clear, compliant Deal Letters and maintain quality standards from kickoff through final delivery.

Requirements

  • University/college degree (business, retail management, communications, or related preferred).
  • 3–5 years of retail and/or merchandising experience (assortment planning, store operations, project management, and/or communications).
  • Strong understanding of retail operations; category management, retail merchandising, and/or supply chain experience preferred.
  • Experience creating polished digital documents/communications; comfortable working with images, graphics, and text to produce clear, visually effective materials.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic, structured thinker, able to turn goals into action plans beyond day-to-day execution.
  • Highly detail-oriented; able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Team-oriented leader who embraces innovation and drives improvements in team performance and process efficiency.
  • Technically inclined; working knowledge of VBA (Excel macros) and/or Python to automate reporting, improve QA, and enable process efficiency standards and improvements.
  • Expertise in leveraging Microsoft 365 to automate workflows and enhance data accuracy through advanced Excel functions, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and macro development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office 365, with a proven ability to build complex models, troubleshoot macros, and streamline reporting using advanced lookup functions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Deal Letter build process across all Merchandising lines of business (prioritization, scope alignment, design, creation, and delivery) to meet quality and timeline commitments.
  • Lead quality assurance for Deal Letters (including peer review of other LRCs’ work) to ensure integrity, accuracy, and adherence to Line Review Operations standards.
  • Serve as the LRO team subject matter expert, mentor and coach teammates, remove obstacles, and lead mitigation discussions to drive timely issue resolution (including complex deals).
  • Facilitate pre-Deal Letter kickoffs to validate strategy, assortment details, and special treatments; lead cross-functional execution touchpoints through completion.
  • Build strong, efficient partnerships with Merchandising, Space Planning, Supply Chain, Translations, Packaging & QA, and Deal Management to resolve or escalate issues quickly.
