Senior Level Designer
About The Position
The RMH Group, a Salas O’Brien Company, is seeking a temporary Senior Level Designer (Designer V), ideally with data center experience in the consulting engineering industry. The role is based in Lakewood, Colorado. A Designer V can perform many engineering-level tasks and leads full design projects while coordinating with the professional engineer of record. The designer may also set up AutoCAD and BIM drawings, lead BIM for projects, and handle drafting for projects of all sizes. The role requires the ability to identify and assess existing conditions with an advanced understanding of industry standards. The expected hourly pay range is $80–$90. Actual compensation depends on factors including experience, professional registrations, skills, and abilities. This temporary position is not eligible for benefits. Travel is not required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of design or operation-level work specifically in a data center.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of AEC industry terminology and procedures.
- Ability to effectively coordinate projects through communication with remote team members.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
