About The Position

Augment is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to serve as a core deal lawyer supporting its revenue-generating investment products. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, the role works with product, engineering, business development, operations and compliance teams. The position supports private-market transactions, including single-asset SPVs, multi-asset funds, side letters, escrow and settlement arrangements, and securities placements. Its primary focus is SPV diligence and offering reviews, drafting and negotiating investment documents, and closing deals. The role also supports fund structuring, PTP and securities regulatory review, and investment-feature product counsel work. The Senior Legal Counsel will handle both high-volume transactions and non-standard deals requiring judgment. The role includes building and maintaining templates, playbooks and automated workflows, helping shape Augment's investing and structuring approach, and contributing to the growth of the legal team. Augment is remote-first, with Austin or New York preferred.
