About The Position

The Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial – Feed Solutions, Origination and Supply Chain provides legal counsel and support to Bunge’s domestic feed solutions and origination business operations. The role focuses on negotiating, drafting, and reviewing corporate and commercial contracts while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It also supports real estate and M&A transactions, domestic business transactions, and relationships with external parties and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 6 years of experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Strong understanding of corporate and commercial law, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferably combining law firm and in-house work in agribusiness or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to business units on corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and commercial transactions.
• Negotiate, draft, and review supply, transfer, handling and storage, service, and transportation-related agreements.
• Provide legal support for real estate and M&A transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Advise on legal aspects of domestic business transactions.
• Collaborate with external counsel and other professionals to protect the company’s legal interests.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to assigned corporate and commercial transactions.
• Represent Bunge in negotiations with external parties, including customers, suppliers, and regulators.
• Collaborate with business leaders, finance, operations, centers of excellence, and other legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal support.
