About The Position

Rocket Software is seeking a business-minded Senior Legal Counsel to support its Americas sales organization and provide practical, strategic legal guidance to internal stakeholders, customers, partners, and vendors. The role independently manages significant commercial transactions from initial structuring through negotiation, escalation, and execution, supporting revenue-generating activities across the customer lifecycle. The Senior Legal Counsel serves as the primary legal partner on assigned matters, advises on deals and issues arising in existing commercial relationships, and provides clear, risk-based recommendations to management and business teams. The role works closely with Sales, Channel Partners, Product, Finance, Procurement, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, and executive stakeholders. It requires a high degree of independence, ownership of matters through completion, and the ability to work with established templates and playbooks while developing new materials and scalable processes when needed. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor who balances commercial objectives with sound legal judgment in a fast-paced technology environment. The position also supports corporate governance initiatives and strategic projects, monitors relevant legal and regulatory developments, and uses technology and AI-enabled tools to improve legal operations and service delivery.
