About The Position
The LITTLE TREES Legal Department is a small, dynamic team responsible for protecting the trademarks, copyrights, and patents associated with our air fresheners around the world. This position will be based in our corporate office in Watertown, NY.
Requirements
- 3+ years of paralegal experience.
- Travel to the corporate office in Watertown, NY for the first month of orientation, followed by routine travel to the corporate office for one week every other month.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for complex matters.
- Investigate & research new matters.
- Recommend strategies to address infringements.
- Draft summaries for attorneys.
- Review drafts of legal briefs.
- Provide in-country attorneys with the information they require.
- Evaluate and manage the in-country attorneys to ensure good outcomes.
- Maintain legal files.
- Execute responsibilities independently in accordance with SOPs and recommend modifications as appropriate.
- Mentor junior team members.
