As the Senior Legal Assistant, you will complete complex legal tasks requiring an advanced level of legal knowledge and experience. You will be drafting and reviewing files while assisting attorneys for miscellaneous needs and performing a variety of tasks. This includes documenting account/file activity, drafting and generating motions, pleadings, and other legal documents for attorney review, monitoring litigation files to final adjudication, ensuring all scheduled hearings are calendared, and filing documents with the courts via traditional and electronic filing methods. You will also communicate with clients regarding contested litigation matters, follow up with courts and other legal departments regarding filed documents and hearings, and perform general clerical duties. Additionally, you may provide direction, training, and work review to administrative staff and Legal Administrative Assistants.
