The Senior Lease & Fixed Asset Accountant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of lease accounting and fixed asset management in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with primary responsibility for compliance with IFRS 16. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and efficient processes for the recognition, measurement, tracking, and reporting of the Company's leased and owned assets, including construction equipment, facilities, fleet, and rented assets deployed to project sites. The position serves as the subject matter expert for lease accounting, fixed assets, capital expenditure reporting, and equipment financing activities. The Senior Lease & Fixed Asset Accountant partners closely with Regional Finance, General Accounting, Treasury, Equipment Operations, Financial Reporting, and other corporate and operational stakeholders to support strategic business decisions, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and strengthen financial governance across the organization.
