About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Wealth Management Banker – Executive Wealth Solutions (Professional Services) (SAFE) to serve as a strategic advisor to HNW individuals, executive clients, and professional services partners and leaders. This role involves leading complex, high-impact initiatives within the Executive Wealth Solutions and Professional Services segment, often spanning multiple business lines and disciplines. The banker will act as a trusted advisor to HNW clients and senior executives, delivering customized banking and lending strategies aligned with their broader wealth plans. The position also drives large-scale strategic planning efforts focused on expanding and deepening relationships within the executive and professional services client segment. Key responsibilities include analyzing and structuring sophisticated, multi-layered credit and liquidity solutions, navigating complex financial, operational, and client-specific factors, and making sound decisions in highly complex environments. Collaboration with advisors, investment professionals, trust partners, and senior leadership is essential to deliver a seamless, client-centric experience. The role also involves leading client engagements, deal execution, and internal initiatives, while mentoring junior team members and serving as a subject matter expert. This SAFE position includes customer-facing responsibilities such as structuring and negotiating lending solutions and may involve taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions. Compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations is required. This position may sit in additional major market locations within the Wells Fargo footprint.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Wealth Management Banking - Professional Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment.
  • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies.
  • The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards.
  • A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation.
  • Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Significant experience advising HNW clients, corporate executives, and partners within professional services firms (e.g., legal, consulting, accounting)
  • Strong background in complex credit structuring, customized lending, and balance sheet optimization
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a highly competitive HNW environment
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior-level and executive clients
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) preferred for immediate registration

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and structure sophisticated, multi-layered credit and liquidity solutions, including bespoke lending, tailored banking arrangements, and integrated trust strategies
  • Navigate complex financial, operational, and client-specific factors, including illiquid assets, concentrated positions, and executive compensation structures
  • Make sound decisions in highly complex environments, applying deep expertise in HNW client needs, regulatory considerations, and lending frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with advisors, investment professionals, trust partners, and senior leadership to deliver a seamless, client-centric experience
  • Lead client engagements, deal execution, and internal initiatives, while mentoring junior team members and serving as a subject matter expert
  • Structure and negotiate lending solutions and may involve taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions
  • Obtain and maintain SAFE registration in compliance with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification standards and Wells Fargo policies for Loan Originators, including financial responsibility and background requirements
  • Adhere to applicable compliance guidelines related to outside business activities and personal investing
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and client confidentiality when working with executive and UHNW clients
