About The Position

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.

Requirements

  • Clerical experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Previous leadership role required
  • Advanced medical terminology required
  • Extensive insurance knowledge required
  • Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily assignments and workflow of front office at multiple locations, which includes ensuring proper staffing levels each day in the event of a call out or scheduled time off.
  • Implement and monitor policies and procedures are followed.
  • Identify gaps in knowledge of Registration staff members and partner with the Trainer to provide proper training.
  • Communicate with other Invision Sally Jobe locations and physician offices regarding concerns.
  • Attend miscellaneous meetings as needed.
  • May assist Site Manager with projects/issues that arise pertinent to the front-end operations.
  • Assist as a Registrar as needed.
  • Perform monthly audits on staff at assigned sites.
  • Monitor scheduling corrections work queue and engage Registrar attention when necessary.
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Handle urgent matters in a time sensitive situation which includes but not limited to obtain correct orders; obtain and update patient health information for each visit; verify insurance information and work with the preauthorization department to obtain prior authorization; collect payments and co-pays when applicable; work with referring offices and Radiologists when needed.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with Radiologists.
  • Provide Royal RIS Registration training in detail to all new hires involving patient demographics, patient details, insurance verification and preauthorization to understand all aspects of the patient registration process including site specific processes.
  • Perform additional administrative/clerical duties as required.
  • Schedule Radiology exams at all Invision Sally Jobe clinic sites for all modalities.
  • Use critical thinking skills, make judgment calls, and engage with the radiologist, nurse, or technologist when necessary.
  • Make outbound calls when appropriate based on the needs of departments and patients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, manage multiple priorities and tasks, to maintain attention to detail.
  • Interacts with office staff and patients, in a courteous and professional manner, with a focus on keeping wait times and delays at a minimum.
  • Ensure productivity standards are met as set by the department.
  • May assist Patient Access Manager with employee feedback, performance reviews, payroll, scheduling, and PTO coordination
  • Assist Trainer in training new employees at site and identifying gaps in knowledge of staff members
  • Is a main contact to answer questions and concerns
  • On-call program participation
