About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Auto Relationship Manager to join their Florida-based Auto banking team. In this role, you will develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships by understanding their needs, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback. You will act as an advisor to senior leadership, guiding and influencing the structuring, modification, and renewal of complex financial solutions. You will lead the strategy and resolution for a full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients, requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple enterprise areas and engagement with product organizations. You will provide vision, direction, and expertise on implementing innovative business solutions within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group that are cross-functional and company-wide strategies. You will strategically engage with all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues, and represent the company externally. You will also serve as an expert advisor to leadership and a mentor for less experienced colleagues. Additionally, you will drive relationship planning activities, maintain sales and pipeline disciplines, and strategically support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new clients through existing networks. You will partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, direction, and expertise on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply.
  • Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.
  • Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
  • Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and Series 79, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire.
  • FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory.
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
  • In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer.
  • Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex to highly complex client relationships through relationship management, understanding client needs and priorities, responding quickly, communicating proactively but strategically, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.
  • Act as an advisor to guide and influence others in growing relationships.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop, influence, or lead the structuring, modification, and renewal of highly complex cash flow, real estate loans, and certain other industry specific solutions across groups and functions by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution for full suite of highly complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients to meet highly complex and unique needs that require an in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise, by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group that are cross functional and companywide strategies.
  • Strategically engage with all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, and represent the company externally.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership and a mentor for less experienced colleagues.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems.
  • Strategically support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, by cultivating relationships through existing networks.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on client and market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively, including large-scale, cross-functional, or company-wide strategies.
