About The Position

Ariva Homes is seeking an experienced Land Development professional to lead and oversee all development activities in the Laredo market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in land development, civil construction, and project management who can take ownership of projects from initial planning and permitting through site development and delivery to vertical construction.

Requirements

• 7–12+ years of experience in land development, civil construction, or related field
• Strong understanding of subdivision development, infrastructure, and sitework
• Experience working with municipalities, permitting, and zoning processes
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid background in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
• Leadership experience managing teams, consultants, and subcontractors

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of land development, including due diligence, permitting, and site development
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall development timelines
• Coordinate with municipalities, engineers, consultants, and utility providers
• Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure work, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways
• Ensure projects meet local zoning, permitting, and regulatory requirements
• Drive cost control, value engineering, and process improvements across development projects
• Collaborate closely with construction teams to ensure smooth handoff for vertical building
• Manage and mentor internal staff, consultants, and contractors involved in development projects
