About The Position

We're seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to perform analytical testing, maintain laboratory instrumentation, and support our quality-driven laboratory operations. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple laboratory techniques while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Engineering or related scientific field
3+ years analytical laboratory experience using state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation or techniques
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of laboratory safety, chemical handling, scientific concepts, and analytical testing equipment
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a high-volume laboratory testing environment
Developing skills in problem solving and process improvements

Nice To Haves

B.S. or B.A. degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
5+ years of analytical or metallurgy laboratory experience
Developing skills in sample preparation, gravimetry, metallurgy testing, microscopy, cutting/polishing/etching, and other advanced instrumentation
Experience with LabWare or similar LIMS
Experience in ISO 9001 (or similar) certified organizations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory testing and support activities per Standard Operating Procedures
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment
Manage inventory for required operating materials
Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet established deadlines
Support other laboratory areas as needed.
