Intertek (BML) is a world leader in the Quality Assurance market. We are seeking a Metallurgy Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves receiving and preparing samples for laboratory testing, conducting various metallurgical tests, analyzing data, and ensuring quality control. The technician will also be responsible for general maintenance of equipment and keeping the lab clean. Requirements
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare samples for laboratory testing.
- Conduct metallurgical tests including gravity concentration, flotation concentration, and leaching.
- Prepare, review, and analyze testing data.
- Identify and correct quality control problems.
- Provide direction and supervision of testing as required.
- Perform general maintenance of equipment.
- Keep the lab in a generally clean condition.
